Liebherr Plant

Liebherr is one of Europe's largest equipment manufacturers, though it also has plants elsewhere in the world too. A leader in the tower, crawler and mobile crane markets, Liebherr also builds excavators, dozers, wheeled loaders, rigid dump trucks, mining shovels and telescopic handlers.

Second generation family-owned, Liebherr has a deserved reputation for high quality design and build, which is reflected in premium pricing. This high value is carried over to the used market, where Liebherr machines remain very popular.

However the company has been developing a Liebherr Rental division, offering customers a chance to try machinery before they invest. This also provides the company with a ready source of used equipment that has been well looked after.

Liebherr-Great Britain is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, based in Biggleswade. The company has seven depots across England, Wales and Scotland, with one in Rathcoole, Ireland. Liebherr-Rental is also based at the Biggleswade head office.

As with all premium manufacturers, Liebherr is known for its high level of service and back-up, with plenty of service engineers on the road and a ready supply of parts coming from Europe overnight.
